Advance motorcycle coaching are single coaching sessions, delivered by our expert coaches. They are designed to support your skill development journey to becoming the best that you can be. We understand and appreciate that everyone learns differently, has different training needs and aspirations. As such, we provide coaching to suit your personal learning and training needs to enable you to reach your goals.

This option is ideal for riders:

• Who may have started advanced motorcycle training but didn't complete.

• In receipt of advanced motorcycle training and need some additional coaching.

• Looking to refresh their advanced motorcycle skills or skill maintenance.

• Looking to embark on the IAM Masters programme.

• Prepare for IAM or RoSPA Adv. Test.

Advanced motorcycle training and development principles

A suitable blend of coaching, instruction, practice, feedback, repetition, demonstration, analysis and review are used to translate acquired knowledge and understanding into an accomplished riding technique. The acquisition of Advanced riding techniques is based upon the 'System of motorcycle control' as described in Motorcycle Roadcraft - The Police Riders Handbook

Structure and delivery of sessions

Your coach (buddy) will be keen to understand and discuss your specific needs, to tailor the session accordingly.  You are in control of the pace of your development, to reach a  standard of riding skill to fulfil your aspirations. Underpinning these sessions is motivation to do well, and self-discipline for developing a safe, responsive, accurate, smooth and progressive riding technique.

For riders seeking consecutive single advanced motorcycle coaching sessions, a realistic fee arrangement will be agreed.

Important notes

• Session are delivered 1 : 1.

• The option to train with a friend may be possible.

• Riders must have a full-uk motorcycle licence .

• Once your request has been received your coach (buddy) will contact you to arrange and agree on a meeting point, date and time.
